McCartney’s Workplace Solutions is proud to announce that President Randy Green has been honored with two distinguished recognitions: selection to the PA Business Central Top 100 and designation as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Altoona.
These awards highlight Green’s leadership in business and his longstanding commitment to community service in Altoona and throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Recognized as a PA Business Central Top 100 Leader
The PA Business Central Top 100 recognizes influential business and community leaders across the region who demonstrate professional achievement, leadership, and civic involvement.
An Altoona native, Green has been part of McCartney’s Workplace Solutions since the age of 15. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Business Economics, he returned to help lead the family-owned business. McCartney’s is currently celebrating 100 years of family ownership and nearly 140 years in business serving Altoona and Central Pennsylvania.
Under Green’s leadership, the company has continued to evolve while maintaining its commitment to local partnerships, workplace innovation, and community engagement.
Honored as a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow
Green was also named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Altoona. Established in 1957, the Paul Harris Fellow recognition honors individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation. The award reflects a strong commitment to service, philanthropy, and positive community impact.
Throughout his career, Green has served on numerous boards and organizations, including:
- The Blair County Chamber
- Altoona Rotary Club
- Greater Altoona Economic Development Corp.
- Blair Chamber Recreation Committee
- Pennsylvania State Snowmobile Association
- HINNA (Historic In-Town Neighborhood Association)
- Mardorf United Methodist Church
- Our Lady of Lourdes School
- A five-county “Buy Local” advocacy group
His involvement reflects a deep investment in supporting local businesses, education, recreation, and economic development throughout the region.
Leadership Rooted in Family and Community
As President of McCartney’s Workplace Solutions, Green leads a multi-generational family business that continues to serve workplaces across Central Pennsylvania. He lives in Altoona with his wife, Mary Ellen, and values the opportunity to work alongside his daughter Laura, continuing the family’s legacy.
These recognitions underscore both personal achievement and the broader impact of a locally owned business dedicated to its community.
